In this section, we will see how to integrate Butterflive on your Magento website.

Prerequisite :

• Having a Magento Connect account. Get one here
• Having a Magento website (version 1.5+)

First you have to go to the Butterflive page on Magento Connect
If you already have an account, click on "Get Extension Key" then choose Magento Connect Version 2.0, accept the terms of the license and validate.

Now go to your Magento Admin Dashboard, and go to System => Magento Connect => Magento Connect Manager

In "Install New Extensions" part, paste the extension key you copied earlier and click on install.
When the Extension Dependencies table appears, click on Proceed.

If everything ran well you should have the green message :

Click on refresh and return to Admin.

Now you should have a Butterflive section in System menu. Click on it and you can create an account, use your existing account and download the Butterflive widget.

Note:
You don't have to manually enter the Butterflive tracking code in all your pages, the module take care of this task. All you have to do is click on "Enable Butterflive".

Note 2:
You don't have to subscribe to a Butterflive key on Butterflive.com, you have the possibility to create an account later, directly from your Magento Dashboard via System/Butterflive section.
The key will be sent to you by e-mail. If you lost your key, you can find it on your Butterflive's account home page.
Of course, if you already own a Butterflive key or use a pro account, you can use it in Magento directly.
