In this section, we will see how to integrate Butterflive on your Drupal website.
Prerequisite :
- Having a Drupal website (version 7.x)
First you have to download here the Butterflive live tracking and chat module.
Butterflive module installation
Unzip the module in your Drupal modules repository, located in sites/all/modules
Now you should find the Butterflive dashboard in Configuration => System => Butterflive. Click on it and you can create an account, use your existing account and download the Butterflive widget.
You should see this screen after setting an account in the module.
This means you can start using Butterflive after downloading the widget:
Note:
You don't have to manually enter the Butterflive tracking code in all your pages, the module take care of this task. All you have to do is click on "Enable Butterflive".
Note 2:
You don't have to subscribe to a Butterflive key on Butterflive.com, you have the possibility to create an account later, directly from your Drupal Dashboard via Configuration/System/Butterflive section.
The key will be sent to you by e-mail. If you lost your key, you can find it on your Butterflive's account home page.
Of course, if you already own a Butterflive key or use a pro account, you can use it in Drupal directly.
